Rebecca Loos Speaks Out: The Untold Story of Her Relationship with David Beckham

Rebecca Loos, the former assistant of David Beckham, has criticized the soccer star for portraying himself as a “victim” in his recently unveiled Netflix docuseries when discussing their alleged affair. In a video interview featured in the Daily Mail on Saturday, the 46-year-old Loos addressed the affair scandal involving her and the 48-year-old soccer icon for the first time since “Beckham” started streaming.

She expressed her dissatisfaction with his portrayal, stating, “He’s positioning himself as the victim and trying to depict me as the dishonest one. It seems like he’s suggesting that I fabricated these unpleasant stories. It’s all about ‘poor me.’ He should accept responsibility.”

The four-part retrospective series on Beckham’s life and career was released in early October and has reignited interest in Loos, who asserted in a 2004 interview that she and the then-Real Madrid player had been involved romantically while he was married to Victoria Beckham.

Loos further conveyed to the Daily Mail that the manner in which Beckham discussed the affair scandal in “Beckham” implied that she was responsible for causing Victoria’s suffering.

The former England captain consistently refuted any claims of infidelity and indirectly alluded to the alleged affair saga in the docuseries, acknowledging the existence of “some distressing stories that were challenging to navigate.”

He acknowledged that these stories placed an unprecedented amount of “pressure” on his marriage to the Spice Girls singer and designer. Beckham added, “I don’t know how we managed to persevere, honestly.”

He further expressed, “Victoria means everything to me. Witnessing her in pain was incredibly challenging, but we are resilient and, during that period, we needed to support one another, to safeguard our family, and what we shared was worth defending,” Beckham affirmed.

Loos asserted, “The stories were indeed distressing, but they held truth. And it’s him who should bear the responsibility for all of this.”

She expressed her disquiet over Beckham attributing his wife’s distress to her, explaining, “It troubled me because he’s the one accountable. He’s the one who chose to deceive her, to suggest we keep it from my wife. He’s the one who made all those decisions.”

Requests for comments made outside regular working hours to representatives of both Beckham and Loos remained unanswered by Insider.

Despite the considerable backlash she faced following the release of the docuseries, Loos explained her decision to speak out by saying, “If I choose to stay silent, I’ll be labeled as the dishonest one, the individual who fabricated these tales.”

“I also have a family and children, and they have access to Google. They can also watch the documentaries, and I want them to recognize that their mother had the courage to confront the situation and uphold the truth.”

She emphasized that, in the end, she harbors no regrets, saying, “I’ve fully embraced the choices I’ve made and the errors I’ve committed. I’ve made peace with them.”

“Every step on that journey, every mistake, and all that I’ve learned along the way have brought me to my current place, which is truly fantastic. I am immensely thankful and content, blessed with an extraordinary husband, children, and family,” Loos concluded.
