North Nashville Shooting at Appartments

Hey folks, we’ve got some news that hits close to home – two young boys found themselves in a scary situation on a Monday afternoon in North Nashville. Here’s what we know so far.

According to a spokesperson from the Metro Nashville Police Department who spoke to News 2, the incident unfolded at Cumberland View Apartments, located in the heart of North Nashville.

It all began when a white sedan pulled into the complex off Dowlan Street. Things took a dark turn when someone inside that car opened fire at one of the apartments and then quickly made their escape.

Now, the most important part of this story is the well-being of those involved. Two boys were caught in the line of fire, and it’s a relief to know that both of them survived, despite the frightening ordeal.

One of the boys sustained a graze wound but was fortunate enough to be rushed to Centennial Medical Center. Thankfully, the injury was deemed non-life-threatening. The other boy wasn’t as lucky, as he was shot in the shoulder. Still, the good news is that his injuries were also classified as non-life-threatening.

As we speak, the police are actively investigating this disturbing incident, trying to piece together the details and track down those responsible for this senseless act of violence. We can only hope that justice will be served swiftly.
