Thankfully, her injuries were deemed non-life threatening, and she was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital for medical care. At this point, no suspects have been apprehended, leaving many questions unanswered.
As the night wore on, another alarming incident unfolded. At approximately 3:05 a.m., a 24-year-old man was hurriedly delivered to Rochester General Hospital, nursing a gunshot wound to his lower body. The mystery deepens here, as investigators are still trying to piece together the puzzle of where this young man was shot, though they suspect it occurred within our city.
Just ten minutes later, the eerie stillness of the night was shattered once more as yet another victim sought help at Rochester General Hospital. This time, a 22-year-old man had fallen prey to a gunshot wound to his upper body. The circumstances surrounding this incident are particularly harrowing: it appears the young man was asleep in his apartment on Twin Beeches, nestled along Lake Avenue. Suddenly, the tranquility of his room was pierced by the alarming sound of gunshots echoing from outside, turning his sanctuary into a scene of chaos.
The police are now working diligently to unravel the thread of events that led to these three separate, yet deeply troubling, shootings. There is a pressing question as to whether the latter two incidents may be connected in some way. As they seek answers, law enforcement is appealing to the community for assistance.
