Biden and Xi Jinping to Tackle Global Challenges in California Meeting

The federal government is on the brink of a potential shutdown, with the current stopgap spending measure set to expire on November 17. White House officials have downplayed the possibility of cutting the President’s trip short but acknowledged the situation remains fluid.
